E.M. “Eddie” Pasatiempo

Chief Impact & Community Engagement Officer

Eddie Pasatiempo joined SOUND’s leadership team on October 1, 2023, as the Chief Impact and Community Engagement Officer. Pasatiempo has shared that his decision to join SOUND was driven by his unwavering commitment to making a meaningful and lasting impact on the community served by SOUND.

Throughout his career, Pasatiempo has held a variety of executive roles in the technology industry with companies including Thomson Reuters, EDS, IBM, and a number of early-stage ventures. Over the years, he developed skills in bringing people together to create positive change and is eager to channel these abilities into SOUND, which plays a vital role in enhancing the well-being of our community.

Pasatiempo has actively been involved in the Seattle community by serving on the boards of organizations including the Seattle Humane Society, the Robert Chinn Foundation, the UW Alumni Association (Past President), Seattle University Albers School of Business & Economics (Past Chair), the Washington Technology Industry Association (WTIA - Past Chair), and the King County Boys & Girls Club (Past Chair). Today, Pasatiempo continues his community involvement by sitting on the boards of PAWS, the UW School of Arts & Sciences, and Seattle University’s Albers School of Business and Economics Executive and Advisory Board.

Pasatiempo received his bachelor’s degree in communications and marketing from the University of Washington and completed the IBM executive management and development program at Harvard University. Since then, Pasatiempo has been recognized by his alma mater, the University of Washington, by being inducted into the Department of Communication Hall of Fame and receiving the UW Distinguished Alumni Award.

Outside of his full-time commitment to SOUND and other involvement in the community, Pasatiempo enjoys golf, tennis, basketball, and anything college sports-related.
