Willows is a supportive housing and clinical services program designed for mothers recovering from Substance Use Disorders (SUD), and their children. It provides on-site support through a dedicated SOUND team, offering daily assistance to help women become as independent as possible while focusing on their recovery and stability. Willows can accommodate up to 15 families, with each family consisting of a mother and up to four children.
Willows serves pregnant women or mothers, regardless of age, race, religion, or sexual orientation, who are exiting inpatient SUD treatment facilities and have co-occurring disorders.

Designed to keep mothers and children together, the program supports women as they maintain their recovery and achieve independence. Residents focus on rebuilding relationships with their children, strengthening their parenting skills, and securing employment and/or education. Women who complete the two-year Willows program are eligible to apply for a King County Public Housing unit. Willows is recovery-oriented, aiming to help individuals and families gain stability, personal growth, resilience, and tools for long-term self-direction. Willows staff treat clients with empathy and understanding, ensuring they feel safe, seen, heard, validated, and empowered.
